Jeremy Carr

Jeremy Carr is an award winning screenwriter and published author who has completed nine feature length screenplays and directed over a dozen short films.

He has worked as a professional script analyst for such companies as Miramax Films, Revolution Studios, and Full Moon Entertainment. As Senior Producer of Distant Corners Entertainment, in addition to over-seeing the production slate, Jeremy wrote and produced the on-line animated series Wish You Were Here.

Two of Jeremy's short stories, Emma SRED, The Sleepy Head and Another Bad Night in Bensonhurst, have been published through Double Dragon Press.

In 2002 he was the recipient of the NYC Flicker Festival Film Grant for his short film Maxwell Stein's Peculiar Predicament, and he was co-writer of the play St. Rosita & The Francophone which premiered at the 1998 New York International Fringe Festival.

Currently, Jeremy is involved in several documentary projects, including co-producing a feature length film about American youth for Spectacle Films.

His latest short film Ice Cream Ants is scheduled to hit the festival circuit in 2006.

His first feature to direct, Lucid, is currently in development, and was an official selection of the 2004 New York IFP Market.

A graduate of Boston University's School of Film, Jeremy now lives in Brooklyn, NY, where many of his films and stories are set.
